I used to love playing Last Chaos. There is a lot of the game I still have yet to get to. I had made it to the 3rd map, Merac. My highest level Avatar was level 43, a Templar Knight. It got really boring once I realized that the only way I was going to be able to level to 44 was to join a group of players my level and go to Egeha, the high level map. At my current level, the only way I can gain my next level with little risk of losing the experience a skill points I had worked on so hard to get, was to fight monsters the same level as myself; Death Mask Soldiers. They are in the Merac Prizon, level 5. I could spend 5 or 6 hours grinding to get about 3%, and hit one argo magic using monster in the prizon, and die; losing that 3%. It had become pointless. That, plus my Guild members leaving Last Chaos out of boredom, and moving to Shaiya, prompted me to start a new account, and a new Avatar. But nothing I did was enough to make the game fun for me again. After Christmas 2007, the drop rates seemed to drop lower and lower, until we were not finding anything we could sell to make or gold with. The lack of quests (maybe 3 per level if you were lucky, that you could finih in 10 minutes) left no real source of income. So I resorted to the item mall as a source of generating revenue. After a while, and a few hundred dollars, I realized that I was in a go-nowhere game. I posted a thread, asked a lot of questions, and got the answers I had been trying to get for months.
Last Chaos is fun for a while, but if you are looking for more than just grinding......well, maybe it is best if you see it for yourself.
